Tax Masters Complaints and the Internet

tax-masters-complaints

Tax Masters is a vibrant, premier IRS tax representation company serving tens of thousands of clients who need help regaining compliance with the IRS or with settling tax debt. As with any successful company, we deal with our share of competitors trying to grab leads away from us based on our brand. In addition to being a leader in a highly competitive market, we are also accustomed to dealing with clients who are in fear of the IRS and who need our steady guidance to get through the sometimes invasive and patience-testing process of dealing with the IRS. If you need tax relief, be careful what you believe on the Internet.  Anyone can publish just about anything.  There is no regulation of the content and no way to determine whether content is factual or if it is intended to divert your attention away from a legitimate business enterprise toward a lesser or even fraudulent entity.  Very little of what you read on the Internet is verifiable unless it comes from a reliable or professional source. Be cautious in what you base your choices on, particularly those involving your financial future. Realize that if you see ads on a website, the website exists to get you to click those ads. The site author can and will say anything to attract your attention, often posting and encouraging comments that are controversial and negative. As with news, the more dramatic a site’s tone, the more it tends to attract traffic.

Credibility on the Internet

Most legitimate IRS tax relief companies have a web presence and locations with real addresses that they are happy to supply to customers or potential customers.  Remember that legitimate businesses and content can be traced to an identifiable owner with a physical address. If you cannot readily identify who operates a website, or where the company is that sponsors the website, be wary of the content. Take Tax Masters for example. Tax Masters has a physical address at 900 Town & Country Lane in Houston, Texas 77024. We are happy to give it to customers, potential customers, and the population at large.

Tax Masters Internet Complaints

At Tax Masters, we have become a little too familiar with complaints sites that whip posters into a craze, encouraging them to air complaints and to do it in a sensational manner. It’s interesting to watch this phenomenon of complaining unfurl on sites like Ripoff Report,  Complaints Board, the Squeaky Wheel, and so on.  While these Internet sites serve a legitimate purpose where people can air their complaints, there are two major problems with using this forum for a legitimate Tax Masters complaint.

The first issue with Internet complaints is that posters are not communicating directly with anyone who can actually help them resolve their problem. Instead of contacting a company’s complaint line, the posters are simply stating their complaint in a manner that will not actually help them. The second problem with complaints boards is that the reader only sees one side of the story, so a reader doesn’t know if a complaint is legitimate, made up by a competitor, or authored by individuals tyring to generate ad revenue from their site. The most damaging Tax Masters complaints we’ve seen on the Internet try to influence the purchase away from us and to small-time, inexperienced tax CPAs. Odd complaints can even find their way into the local BBB office, citing issues like music in commercials and Patrick Cox’s weight.

97% of Clients Satisfied with Tax Masters Services

A better indicator of value of services is the overall percentage of satisfied customers.  If someone has one or two or even three customers in one hundred who are unhappy, you have to wonder what the whole story is.  If the company is turning out 97 happy customers out of every 100,  the company must be doing something right. Without more specific information about the unsatisfied customers and without knowing the entire story that lead up to a complaint, it is very difficult to make a sound judgment about the a business and its value add.

Our goal at Tax Masters is 100% customer satisfaction. We have come close to achieving that with the vast majority of our customers being happy, or more than happy, with our services. You can check out some of our success stories on our main site or some of our Tax Masters reviews. Tax Masters is proud to boast a 97% client  satisfaction rating.
